"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." --Robert Heinlein's character Lazarus Long in 'Time Enough for Love'

Art: Some Watercolor

And just to post... here's a painting I worked on yesterday. I'm pretty darn happy with it. Watercolor on Arches 140lb cold press. Used only two colors; French Ultramarine & Burnt Sienna. Sometimes the muse takes you for a ride!

The farthest Thunder that I heard
Was nearer than the Sky
And rumbles still, though torrid Noons
Have lain their missiles by --
The Lightning that preceded it
Struck no one but myself --
But I would not exchange the Bolt
For all the rest of Life --
~Emily Dickinson
